WOW!! That was the first word out of my mouth after seeing this little beauty all fluffed up and rarin' to go!! My pretty Amour and my 'oh so black boy' Pennington did a bang-up job on this foal......we will try this cross again. For you breeder's wanting that illusive black-n-white spot, Eola Hills Petite Fluer Jolie', is the jennet for you. I expect this little girl to only get nicer as she ages, like many of these fine wine grapes we have growing around us. Jolie' has a very nice spotting pattern and should do well in the show ring. From birth Jolie' has had a nice full round butt with straight legs all around. She is 10 mos old now and is truly a nice, nice little jennet. If I did not have her sire as my only jack I would keep her for my breeding program!! She will make someone a stunning Show Jennet, and a fantastic, colorful brood jennet when she turns 3 years of age.

Amour is a pretty little jennet. She stands 30¼" with a striking white face that looks like it is painted on!! Amour has a very nice round rear, straight legs & an even bite. She is easily bred and a wonderful mother to her foals!!

It took me 4 days to get a 'still' picture of this little imp!! I had to take Mon Cheri' and her dam, Amour, out to a different area. She finally slowed down long enough to smell the dandylions!! I purchased a very pregnant Amour at the Ohio Sale on Aug 1, 2009. Two weeks later we drove to Red Bluff, CA to pick her up, praying all the way that we would get her home and into a nice comfy stall before she foaled. Amour was a real trooper. There are a lot of very nice people to thank for her safe arrival......Jane DuPlessis for all the help with the arrangements to get Amour back to Oregon safely, Martha Howard, for taking care of her after I had to leave Ohio. Cox Equine Transport, for picking her up at Martha's and bringing her to TX, to their own little mini-haven for 2 days, and then onto Red Bluff.....and a special thanx to my dear sweet husband, who drove me and the trailer from our house all the way to Red Bluff, CA and back home again (900 miles) all in ONE day!! We were all very tired..... Amour waited 4 weeks before she decided to drop this little bundle of joy!! Mon Cheri' is very small and compact....beautiful small head and nice straight legs. She has a cute little round butt and stands just 20.5'' at birth. Mon Cheri' carries the *masked spotting factor which means she can produce spots, maybe even the illusive 'red spot', with all the red in her pedigree!! We are offering Mon Cheri' for sale.

Talk about a beauty.....this little girl has it all!! This is Pennington's second foal & I could not have asked for a more perfect baby. Ava-Luna's Dam, Lilah, is one of my most favorite donkeys and she has never given me anything but perfection!! She puts a special stamp on her foals that is very noticeable and Ava is no exception. This little girl is the spitting image of Lilah, right down to her beautiful triangular face, straight legs, round butt, gorgeous blk/brn color and that ''Look At Me, I am Special,'' attitude!! It's reeeeally hard to put Ava on the sale page....she's a keeper for sure, but I can't keep them all. Before she goes, though, we are going to enjoy the heck out of her!!
