If you are looking for a tiny brood jennet with a great pedigree full of color.....then my little Margie is for you. Margie was only 19½" at birth and in late January 2010 @ 2 1/2 yrs old, she measured 28''. Margie is a well balanced, compact girl for being so tiny. I would suggest not breeding her until she is closer to 4 yrs old and then to a tiny, more refined jack with lots of 'small' in his pedigree. I do not have that 'type' of jack.

Not For Sale!! We knew as soon as this little girl was born we would have to keep her.....just to watch such a little beauty grow!! Suzie really outdid herself this time. We think this cross with Little Magic & Suzie will be repeated.....maybe we can get a little brother for Angel next time!!

This little guy stole our hearts the minute he popped that pretty little head out!! Wow, what a surprise. He is a beauty.....with that cute little floppy ear. We all laughed later, when he came up to us on wobbly legs and that little ear was laying across his face. He was just too precious!! It took a few days, but he's got it standing higher now. We all had quite a time naming this little boy. My son thought we should name him "FlapJack"......because of his cute flappy ear. My gran-girl thought it should be "Oreo" because of his color. 'Besides, 'Oreo' sounds better in the ring than 'FlapJack'....according to my gran-girl. Of course, she won out. So little Oreo it is. He's a nice solid little guy and will make someone a flashy gelding or herdsire. Check out his wide chest and heavy bone! His dam, Lilah, is one of our nicest jennets and my favorite. What can I say about Bells?? She is one of the most "in your face" donkeys we have!! Bells is spoiled rotten......but I love her SO much. She comes up and sticks her nose in your chest and begs to be scratched. I want to thank my good friend, Cindy Benson, for letting me purchase this sweetheart from her last Spring!! Bells has a top-notch pedigree and we are looking forward to some great foals from her & Rocky.

UPDATE: On Aug 20, 2008, three weeks early to the day, of Belles' first breeding with our new herdsire, Little Magic, she presented us with another darling jennet. Eola Hills Lotta Lov'n is the image of her older half-sister, Starla, right down to that star on her forehead!! You would never know these 2 girls have different sires.....they look that much alike!! From the time Lotta was born she was a snuggle-bug!! Everytime I came into the pasture to clean, she was right there wanting me to put down the plastic fork and hold her!! I thought to myself, ''This little girl thinks I have all the time in the world to give her a lotta lov'n''.......hence, the perfect name for her!! Lotta is weaned now and ready to go to a loving family. Her Sire is spotted and she is carrying the red gene on her dam's side. If you are looking for sweet & cuddly, with a whole lot of color potential, Lotta is the perfect brood jenny for your breeding program.

This little girl has more than met our expectations!! We had every intention of keeping Starla in our future brood jennet pasture and breeding her to our man Pennington in 2010. But as everyone knows, intentions can change pretty quickly. We are now offering her For Sale. Starla is a well balanced little jennet, with a nice round butt and a gorgeous set of legs!! She is almost 2 yrs old now and measured a mere 30 1/2" @ 20 mos of age. Starla's sire won 'Get-of-Sire' at the 2007 NMDA Nationals in Oregon. Her dam is one of my top producing jennets. Both parents have outstanding pedigree's, which makes Starla's great!! You won't go wrong adding this lovely jennet to your brood jennet pasture in 2010.

Red is one of the most gorgeous donkeys I have ever seen!! He takes your breath away just standing out in the pasture. He has a magnificent wide chest, the nicest round butt and stocky straight legs!! And he is 'Mr Personality-Plus'.....such a sweet guy!! His color is undescribable ... deep dark red with lots of black hair running throughout his body. Beautiful!! Lil Red was sold as a foal for $5000, and worth every penny. He has gone on to produce some outstanding progeny. Two of his beautiful red daughters are, DuPlessis Farm Amber Glo and DuPlessis Farm Persimmon Puddin'. Lil Red's progeny photos are compliments of Jane, who has retained these pretty girls in her breeding program. Also, Dennis Robertson of Cottonwood, CA has retained one of his son's, Rancho Rhea Fireworks, as his #1 herdsire. Both of these breeders have nothing but good things to say about Lil Red. Jane says she can not find one fault with Lil Red (and if you know Jane, you know that is saying something!!). This beautiful donkey has produced red, black and even frosted spotted white. This little boy is our previous herd sire, Rocky's, last HooRah!! He certainly is his Daddy's little boy....sweet as honey and pretty as a picture!!! Eddie becaue a sweet little gelding on Tuesday, September 22nd. This little guy is a full brother to Eola Hills Ellington, and they look like twins! Tina Catalina has a ''show girl'' presence to die for!!

Querrey's Q-T's Bubbles (aka Molly B) bred to our new herdsire, Little Magic for an October '08 foal. Molly B is a pretty black jenny, 8 years old, 33 ½" tall, and a very loving, caring momma to her foals. She breeds and births easily. We have had 4 gorgeous foals from Molly B….all have been quality! Check out Molly B's pedigree. This cross between Little Magic and Molly B could produce the black/white spot that everybody is wanting. Molly B's daughters could also produce the black/white spot when crossed with a spotted jack.

Gabriella Grace is over 2 years old now and will be ready for your breeding program in the Fall of 2008. She is a lovely dark brown color and measures just at 32". 'Look close and you can still see that pretty white star on her forhead!! She was shown at the NMDA Nationals in Oregon this summer, along with her half-sister, Roxi-Blu & half-brother, Taylor-Made. These 3 yearling foals earned their Sire, Rocky, 4th place in Get-of-Sire…..the competition was stiff, with the first 3 places going to Texas!! We were very proud!!

Sabrina-Fair is another quality jennet that we've come to expect from the cross between Molly B and Rocky. She is a gorgeous black/brown color and we think she will stay dark like her Dam. Sabrina has a pretty head, long ears, round butt, and of course, those gorgeous straight legs that her sire, Rocky, gives to all of his progeny. Sabrina-Fair is a well-balanced little jenny and one of our gran-girls favorites to work with.

Lilah and Rocky have done it again!! Wow!! We thought they couldn't do any better than last year's Roxi-Blu, but Roxi's full sister 'Little Red Mercedes' is her image, only in dark red!! Even when Mercedes is napping she stands pretty. This little girl is destined for the show ring!! Mercedes has a long and impressive pedigree, going back to the Danby herd. This one is a hard one to let go but I know I can't keep them all.....at least that is what my husband keeps telling me!!!!!

We've waited a long time for this ''special'' little girl. Lilah, (aka Rogers Twilla) her Dam, is one of our very best brood jennets. She is our "Grand Champion" and has already given us 2 gorgeous jacks. I whispered in her ear: "Lilah, give me a special little girl that looks just like YOU".......and she did!!! We are so pleased with Roxi-Blue and she is definitely her mother's daughter!!! Another reason she is so special is the special night she was born ..... there was a rare full "Blue Moon" out. They say this only occurs once every 3 yrs.......that explains why Lilah waited 3 years to have her ''special'' girl!! My daughter chose her name....she said it sounded like a "stripper" name, it would be appropriate for her when she strutted her stuff in the Show Ring......so watch out everyone, ROXI-BLUE is coming to town!!!

I took one look at Breezie and just had to have her!! Isn't that the sweetest face you've ever seen?? She is just too precious for words!! Breezie is a 'pocket-donkey'.....you can't go into the pasture without her trying to crawl into your pocket!! She is truly a little love bug and we look forward to her joining our breeding program. For now, we are just going to have fun watching little Breezie grow!!

Note: Breezie was not even 'for sale' but Jane talked me into selling Breezie back to her!!!

Jazz is a very petite little jennet with a nice compact body and very pretty head. We are just delighted with her and can't wait until we can add her to our brood jennet barn. We will be crossing her with our 'new man on the block,' HD Little Magic. These two should make some beautiful little spotted babies for us....stay tuned!!

Snickers is a Black, no/Cross, 33" jennet. She is 3 yrs old and has been pasture exposed to our small spotted herdsire, Little Magic, for an Aug 12-14,'08 delivery date. Snickers is a sweet jennet, another one of those 'pocket' donkeys. She is the only donkey I know of that will stop eating to come and visit with me while I'm scooping poop!!!

Mello-D'Ann just turned 3 yrs old and she is ready for ourbreeding program. She is a nice compact built little girl. Mello-D is 31'' tall with a nice straight topline, a round firm butt and gorgeous straight stocky legs. She has a variety of color in her pedigree, red, black, white*(FSW) and dark brown/white spot to name a few. This little girl has a great personality..... always there with the nudges if you happen to forget to scratch her first!! Mello-D also has one of those pretty dainty little heads.

Pearl is a real black beauty with personality plus. She will be 3 yrs old this May. Her sire, RF Gelato, has one of the most gorgeous chests I have ever seen on a donkey!! Pearl is definitely her father's daughter!! She has a nice round hip, stocky straight legs and a pretty feminine head.

Strong sorrel genetics with this one! Her dam has produced sorrel every time. Bo Peep is no exception to the quality her dam produces. We believe she'll be an outstanding show prospect and brood jenny when her time comes. She's flashy, compact and a true charmer

Wow! That’s all we can say about this exceptional little man. On June 10, 2006, Slippers presented us with Eola Hills Elliot. He is a gorgeous gray and no bigger than a half-a-minute!! Elliot is 5th generation in a line of Champions. His Sire, Crown Meadow Opie, is a 3X Reserve Champion Halter jack @ 2 & 3 yrs of age. His grandsire, Crown Meadow Cup-a-Joe, was named Champion Hi Point Green Jack in 2005. Sadly, Elliot’s great-grandsire, the Legendary RF Carbon Copy, passed away at the height of his career on April 8, 2005 at the tender age of 10. In honor of his passing, Marilane decided to take CC’s Sire & Elliot’s great-great grandsire, the then 17 yr old, RF Cappuccino out of retirement. Cappuccino showed them he still has what it takes by winning Reserve Champion Hi Point Jack for 2005!! Elliot's dam, Slippers, was shown as a yearling and placed 3rd out of 19 other jennets at The Great Celebration & Mule Show in Shelbyville, Tennessee. This stunning little jennet was born Aug 1, 2005. SaraJayne is a doll, with that pretty little head and those cute little ears!! Her gorgeous legs come straight from her Daddy, our herdsire, Wit's End Rock'n Rocky, who has the straightest set of legs West of the Mississippi!! SaraJayne's Dam, Stoney Acres Alischa, is a Red Lightning & Puccini grandaughter (see pedigree below).......great color in this little jennets pedigree!!

Sedona was the first donkey I fell in love with.  I saw those gorgeous "banana ears" and I just had to have her!  Sedona hasn't disappointed me.  She is a doll.  Where her half sister, Pretty Is, is an attention getter, Sedona is more sedate and prim and proper.  We'll be breeding her to our herd sire Wit's End Rockin' Rocky.  With Rocky's My World background these two should have a gorgeous foal!

Update! Sedona foaled a gorgeous, tiny, smoky black NLP jack on August 8th, 2004, my best friend's birthday! Welcome "Little Boomerang" and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAVONNE!!

Alberta Rose is sired by MGF LeRoy, a half brother to Future Link. This little jennet carries the genes of two famous sorrel jacks, RED LIGHTENING and THE FIREMAN and her Dam has produced black. Rose has great conformation and a sweet disposition and we don't think we can go wrong with this little jennet!!

In 2000 our daughter, Maisie, decided she wanted to use one of our donkeys for a 4-H project. We had many children at the County Fair wanting to have a donkey project but they lived in town and did not have a place to keep one. In 2001 I became the 4-H leader of our group. We started the first official Miniature Donkey group in Washington State, Barnyard Brayers 4-H. We leased donkeys to some of these individuals.

The ‘projects’ stay at Red Moon Acres and the children are responsible for the care of that animal. The members have gone on field trips to the feed store, vet clinic and on tours of Washington State University Vet School. Our club uses books & videos put out by ADMS for their meetings, which are held a couple of times a month. All of the 4-H ‘breeding projects’ are cared for by the member. When donkeys are ready to foal, the member is notified. They get to watch their donkey foal and help with the care of jennet & foal. All of the members show their animals at the County Fair.

Nancy Jo will be the newest addition to the Red Moon Acres breeding & 4-H program. She will be a ‘breeding project’ for our daughter, Whitney, who will also be enrolling her in the Youth VHOF program with ADMS.

This little love bug came all the way from Didsbury, Alberta, Canada. Thanks Deb, for letting us purchase this sweet girl!! When we got to Deb's and Gerard's home, to pick her up, we had come straight from The Red Deer Extravaganza Miniature Donkey Show. It was late and very dark. The next morning Chuck and I decided to explore the barn and pastures to see if we could find our donkey. As we are walking towards the donkeys, sipping our morning coffee, they were promptly walking away. Soon we stopped and just looked around.....suddenly, I feel a nose nudge my hand. I look down and a pretty little gray donkey walks under my arm. Chuck comes over and starts petting on her other side. She stands there with us while we finish sipping our coffee. Soon Deb comes tootling out to the pasture and as she opens the gate, I yell "Please tell me this is my donkey!!" She laughs and said "Yep, that's your Alischa!!" Whew, that was a relief......we had already bonded!! Look for great things from Alischa and Rocky next summer of 2005!!

Missy is a little chocolate sweetheart! When I first saw Missy, I fell in love with that adorable dish face. She is a shy, loving little jennet. Missy is bred to Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, a 31" dark jack, for a March 7th, 2005 foal. Sandy Dorris, from Wit's End Farm, told me Racer almost always throws jennets. I told her, if I get a jack from Racer he should be very rare and worth some big bucks!! LOL!! Check back in March to see the outcome! Missy is the dam of Windcrest Skeeter, a gorgeous jennet. Her last foal was a very dark brown 20.5" jennet named Wit's End Shy Anne.

Update: Missy foaled a tiny, very dark NLP jennet on Mar 14, 2005: Eola Hills IssaBella!! What a precious baby she is. Check her out on our "new arrival" page. We chose Crown Meadow Opie to cross with Missy this time. Check back for the arrival of their foal in April 2006.

This little 30 lb bundle of joy arrived last night at 1:05 AM. Her Dam, SpringLake Missy. had no problem at all delivering her. Her Sire, Sunset Acres Speedway Racer, back in TN, doesn't know a thing. I'm sure his mistress, Sandy Dorris will inform him that he is still performing true to form with 'another jennet' to add to his list!!!!

What a great way to start off our New Year with the arrival of a gorgeous bouncing jack foal!! What a little bundle of energy he is!! We have decided to name this little guy in honor of our New Year's celebration. Every year we toast the New Year in with a 'Magnum' of sparkling champagne, so hence the name......Eola Hills Dusty Magnum!! Dusty is a deep rich dark color with his pretty white points and belly like his Dam, Rogers' Twilla aka LILAH. This little guy has a nice round rear-end and a short compact body. Dusty has an extensive pedigree with lots of color in his back ground. Given the chance we think Dusty will knock the judges socks off in the Show ring just like his Dam did. Lillah strutted her stuff and walked away with the top prize every time!! She was the Grand Champion at the Washington Donkey Days and Oregon's Pacific Crest Classic Miniature Donkey Show just to name a couple. Dusty is destined to do the same!! Rosa-Lea Dawn is one of the tiniest foals we have ever had, at barely 18 1/4".......and on top of that, she is one of the sweetest!! We expect this little sweet pie to stay small and compact like her dam, Satin Slippers, who is only 30 1/4". Satin Slippers was 3rd place winner, out of 19 donkeys, at the NMDA Shelbyville, TN ACOSA Show in 2002. Watch out NMDA, we think her daughter, Rosa-Lea Dawn, will follow in her hoof-prints. This little doll has style, she has class, along with show stopping personality.....you better grab her fast before I decide to keep her!! At this time we are offering her at $2500.

Felina danced her way into this world 4 weeks early!! She is the sweetest little thing. Always running up to me in the pasture with nuzzles. Felina demands your attention and lots of hugs and kisses.
